It is a pleasure to welcome you at the 10th edition of Mass Timber Seminar International in our Headquarters. This event was created with the aim of offering a concrete and updated vision of the evolution of the sector at a global level, including research, experimentation and real applications.
Facing the major challenges of timber construction today means addressing increasing demands in terms of scale, complexity, and performance.
Thanks to the contribution of international designers, engineers, and researchers, the seminar becomes a platform for direct exchange on design approaches, structural solutions, and construction strategies already tested in real contexts.
Participating means gaining concrete insights, practical tools, and inspiration that can be directly applied to your own projects, while also staying up to date with the latest developments in the timber construction sector — discovering how the industry is pushing beyond the limits that have shaped construction in recent years.
Now in its 10th edition, the event has become a key meeting point for the international network, bringing together professionals from across the industry. Dedicated moments are specifically designed to encourage interaction with speakers and networking among participants, fostering meaningful exchanges and new collaborations.
CONTENTS
The program is structured to systematically explore the main challenges related to the design and construction of large wooden structures, through international case studies, academic contributions and technical insights. It follows a path from the sustainable management of forest resources to the realization of iconic and complex buildings in diverse contexts worldwide.
Projects, applications, and research activities are presented alongside engineering solutions addressing current industry needs — including key aspects such as acoustics and fire resistance.
This year, the program goes beyond a purely theoretical approach: presentations will include practical suggestions and directly applicable solutions, providing concrete takeaways for real projects.
In addition, the program is enriched by practical experience moments, offering participants the opportunity to engage with real applications and deepen their understanding.
But what does it really mean to go beyond the limits?
It means building higher, tackling larger and more complex structures, achieving high performance, and exploring solutions that go beyond timber alone, enabling wider spans and innovative approaches.
It also means addressing the challenges of international logistics, which play a key role in the realization of large-scale timber projects across different contexts. And today, it means embracing the evolution of engineering tools: with artificial intelligence, we can design smarter, optimize faster, and unlock new possibilities for timber structures.
